The Grandmother’s Chair

“The Grandmother’s Chair” was a workshop held in honor of Vietnamese Women’s Day, created as a quiet tribute to the women who shape us with tenderness, resilience, and love. Women, like flowers, are soft in presence yet strong at heart, each one shining in her own way. This gathering was not simply about arranging flowers. It was an invitation to slow down, to feel, and to express affection through blooms. It was a space where each participant could reflect on the women they cherish, and also on their own inner beauty and strength.

What made the day especially meaningful was the presence of a grandmother, lovingly invited by one of our participants. Her gentle smiles and warm presence brought the workshop’s message to life. The idea of “The Grandmother’s Chair” felt real and radiant in that moment: a seat held for wisdom, memory, tenderness, and legacy. The room softened. Conversations grew gentler. And flowers seemed to hold stories of their own.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and helped shape such an emotional, heartfelt experience. Thank you for bringing your stories, your quiet joys, and your love. Together, we created something beautiful.
